For the third year in a row I was lucky enough to go to the Etsy UK captains Summit again last month, and I think it was even better this year! I had lovely travelling company from my CAVETSY co-captain Emily and Hereford team captain Nicky that also lives in Cardiff, and I got to make lots of new friends and see lots of lovely people that I really really wish I got to see more often! Mini captains summits anyone?
The food by the fabulous 698b with the most epic desert I have ever seen after a stunning rest of the meal anyway! We were totally spoilt! The fact that more beer kept just appearing before I’d finished the last one didn’t hurt at all either π
Aside from eating our weight in yummy food, we also had two days FULL of inspiring talks and useful information and a bit of ceramics painting…I think I should stick to the jewellery! And I came back to Cardiff full of ideas, plans and schemes! CAVETSY is going to have an EPIC year! Etsy Made Local 2017 planning is well underway; first weekend of December, we have a product photography workshop planned book hereΒ and if I can find a few more venues there will be more announced soon!
So here’s my pics from the weekend, most of which are the result of a box of props we found just before we left on the Sunday, and things got a little silly π Enjoy.
Also check out the #etsycaptainssummit on Instagram, twitter etc to see lots of photos from the amazing other captains.
MELTY FACE. :p (but also, fab pics! Have signposted the team this way – and it’s reminded me to bloody well finish my video editing!!)
Yep get the video done I want to see it! …Been meaning to post the pics for ages, a month late isn’t too bad right :p ….and no melty face!
I love the pics and the food sounds amazing! I’m glad you had fun x
It was amazing! Don’t think I’ll try it at home though π
