Privacy Policy

I Sarah-Jane Egan am the data-controller of your personal information as it relates to my shop.

When you place an order from me, I will receive your name, delivery address and email address. I will only use these details to process and deliver your order, or deal with any queries you have related to that order. If you contact me through this site I will receive your email which will also only be used to reply to you.

The only circumstances in which I will share your data are in processing your order or complying with the law. I will never use or pass on your information to third parties for marketing purposes or any other purpose, other than the circumstances listed below, or add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent. The circumstances in which I may share your data are:
• With delivery companies to fulfil your order.
• To comply with legal or tax obligations.

I will only retain your details for as long as necessary in order to process the transaction and I will securely store any data collected during that period. I retain personal data related to orders or customer queries for seven years, as required by HMRC. After this time I will delete your data from my records.

You have the right to know what personal data I hold about you, and to ask for that data to be changed or deleted. You also have the right to complain to the ICO if you believe there is a problem with the way I handle your data.

 
Processing time
 
The time I need to prepare an order for shipping varies. For details, see individual items.

Australia, New Zealand and Oceania: 7-10 business days
Asia Pacific: 7-10 business days
Latin America and the Caribbean: 7-10 business days
North Africa and the Middle East: 7-10 business days
Sub-Saharan Africa: 7-10 business days
I’ll do my best to meet these shipping estimates, but can’t guarantee them. Actual delivery time will depend on the shipping method you choose.
 
 
Customs and import taxes
 
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I’m not responsible for delays due to customs.
 
 
Returns
 
I gladly accept returns, exchanges and cancellations
 
Contact me within: 14 days of delivery
Ship items back within: 30 days of delivery
Request a cancellation within: 1 hour of purchase
 
The following items can’t be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can’t accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalised orders
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
 
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Sizing details

If you’re in doubt about ring size, let me know and I will send a sizer out to you to check. With gold orders I will send a sizer out to confirm anyway because sizing can vary from tool to tool since the differences are so minuscule and resizing can take a long time with hallmarking etc so best to be certain.
Resizing is available on all rings unless the listing says otherwise.

Workshops:

Please contact me as soon as you are aware that you can’t/wont make it to a workshop. Using the email sarahjane@fragmentdesigns.com I will of course bear the reason in mind and try to come to an agreement that we’re all happy with.

I will happily reschedule with no fee up to 21 days before your booking, however for refunds paypal no longer refunds me the fee they have already taken so all refunds will be minus ~3.5%.

If your workshop is 14-21 days away, I am still happy to reschedule but a 15% fee may be added, and any refunds will also be minus 15%

If your workshop is 7-14 days away the reschedule or refund fee will be 30%.

For workshops less than 7 days away the refund or reschedule fee will be 50%

And if you cancel within 48 hours of the workshop there will be no refunds and rescheduling may not be an option.

For my Saturday workshops, please note that workshops will only take place with a minimum of two attendees. If numbers booked falls below that figure I may cancel that Workshop and offer a place at a similar Workshop If that doesn’t suit I will issue a full refund.
