Description
A solid sterling silver ring with the Welsh phrase yn gymraeg “Hiraeth ” which is more of a concept then a word, a truly unique Welsh phrase thats sometimes translated as a yearning for something that doesn’t really exist anymore.
This ring is one of my new series of language stones, Cerrig iaith in Welsh or Clocha teanga in Irish and. I will be doing all sorts of interesting words in the languages so please let me know your favourite!
My language stones are made by recycling my sterling silver left over from other projects, part of my effort to reduce waste!
This listing is for the exact “Hiraeth ” ring shown which is currently a size M but can be taken up to a P or down to an I.
There is also has an option for you to commission the ring of your choice to be made up, please include your ring size as well as the word you would like, I can send out a ring sizer at no additional cost if needed. The exact ring will vary due to how they are made but I will send you a photo to check you’re happy with the final ring before dispatch.
Ring shown is unhallmarked but ready to go it is 6.4g in weight so not legally required to be hallmarked but I can send it in my next hallmarking parcel at no extra cost, but approx 3 extra weeks delivery time. Any custom rings that are over 7.7g will be legally required to be hallmarked, again at no additional cost but additional time.
