Description
Spend a day in my workshop making your own wedding rings. We will be working in my fully equipped professional jewellery studio, using the types of tools that have been used for centuries, plus a few electric upgrades!
The workshop is a really fun day, and of course we will have homemade cakes and some non alcoholic bubbly while you make your rings.
Silver and Gold rings will be made from scratch by you, and you can leave with them on the day! Platinum rings will be sent for casting from a silver ring you make so this will add a couple of weeks. Also if you are worried about making your ring in gold we can make the ring in silver to be cast in gold instead to take the pressure off, and you will get to keep the silver master as well as the finished cast ring, no extra charge. For a low stress life I suggest with cast rings we allow at least 2 months until the wedding date.
The workshop is for one couple/group for approx. 4-5 hours. I will demonstrate making the ring of your choice and then guide you through making your own. You can also stamp a message inside your wedding rings at no additional cost even with rings you are getting cast, the cast is that good!

Towards the end while the rings are polishing we’ll have a go at stamping a copper keyring/pendant. I will also take photos throughout and send them to you via dropbox afterwards, unless you would rather no photos of course.
You can choose your metal and style of ring. For simplicity I have listed here my standard pairs of 3mm and or 5mm rings; if you would like different sizes or there is 3 or 4 of you please contact me for a price. We can fit a maximum of 4 people alongside myself.
You can choose to make any of my rings, hammered, bark, ripple or of course my botanical range.

My studio is in Trecenydd Caerphilly, walkable from Caerphilly town/castle, just a short walk from Aber train station if you’re travelling by public transport. On street parking is available, you rarely have to go further then around the corner. Full details will be emailed when you book. Caerphilly also has some fab restaurants which depending on your tastes I can wholeheartedly recommend for dinner afterwards.
I love making wedding rings, its so satisfying to know I’m making a symbol of love that will be worn for years, and running these wedding ring workshops has been even more magical! I can’t wait to work with you!
