On Monday I headed along to the most recent Creative Cardiff event in Porters in Cardiff….a very nice pub I’d never actually been to before, I’ll have to visit again 🙂
The event was their second show and tell and they had three ace speakers telling us all about themselves and why Cardiff is the place to be Creative. Each talk was really good and interesting, although I think the panel style at the end was the best bit. It really illustrated how we’re all thinking a lot of the same things and we know a lot of the things we need to do, so we’re getting them done.
Personally I’m game and I’m pretty sure I can rely on the CAVETSY members too 🙂
The three speakers were also quite varied which was great.
The first speaker of the evening was Anton Faulconbridge, which is a pretty epic name! He’s the founder of video game studio Rantmedia, and he brought along an old gaming computer; older then me, that I really would have loved to try out!
Second up we had Clare Hill a milliner, journalist and all round creative, her hats were really beautiful and she will be a name to watch out for over the next while!
And last but not least we had John Rostron, who seems to have his fingers in all Cardiff musical pies…so to speak!
